An Interview Dabbling with Character

Dabs took off his hat and sat down with A. E. LaSage for an exclusive Notes from Nowhere Interview.  Of course this interview had to be fictional because because Dabs is not real but rather a character in an online story called A Work In Progress.

AE:  What is your favorite word?

D: Well, I suppose it’s nice. I mean the word “nice”.  It says absolutely nothing at all. The vagueness of it get’s me out of all kinds of icky situations.

AE:  What is your least favorite word?

D:  Stuck.  I’m a freedom lover, I like to go where the current takes me.

AE:  What turns you on creatively, spiritually or emotionally?

D: I like to help people, see them smile and know I did that.

AE:  What turns you off?

D:  I don’t like people getting in my bubble.  My business is mine and those bubble-bursting people can just stay behind  the Bubblicious  layer of my space.

AE:  What is your favorite curse word?

D: Oh it’s got to be f**k.  I mean really who doesn’t like the word f**k?

AE:  What sound or noise do you love?

D: The only thing I can think of  at the moment is a creek’s current.  The water whispers in my ear.   I don’t know what she’s saying to me.  All I know is that sound tickles into relaxation.

AE:  What sound or noise do you hate?

D: Slamming doors or windows.  It’s loud and angry and I don’t know why people shut things gently.

AE:  What profession other than your own would you like to attempt?

D: Of course I would be a clown.  I mean a real one they have a Clown University, anyway they make people laugh in a silly childish way.

AE:  What profession would you not like to do?

D: I can’t manage people .  I’m too nice for that kind of work.

AE:  If Heaven exists, what would you like to hear God say when you arrive at the Pearly Gates?

D: Oh come join the party, the hard part is over.

AE: Everyone here at Notes for Nowhere would like to thank Robert Dabs for his time.  Also we would like to remind our readers that Chapter 2 is comming soon!

Chapter 2 will land October 28th!

Do these Questions sound familiar?  If you are curious…
